Position Summary:

As a Part-Time Produce Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our produce department runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining the freshness and quality of our organic fruits and vegetables, creating eye-catching displays, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position is perfect for someone who is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and loves interacting with customers. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce Perfectionist: Ensure all produce is fresh, properly stocked, and beautifully displayed to attract customers.
  • Customer Champion: Provide outstanding service by assisting customers with produce selections and sharing your knowledge of organic products.
  • Quality Control: Monitor produce for quality and freshness, removing any items that do not meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Enthusiast: Help with receiving, unloading, and organizing deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory levels and proper storage.
  • Sanitation Star: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce department, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with your team to create a positive and efficient work environment that aligns with our core values.

Qualifications:

  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.
  • Passion for Organic Produce: A genuine love for fresh fruits and vegetables and commitment to organic living.
  • Customer Service Skills: Friendly, helpful, and attentive to customer needs.
  • Detail-Oriented: Able to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Reliable and Punctual: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Team-Oriented: Ability to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Footwear Requirement: Must wear non-slip shoes for safety on the job; please note that these are not provided by the company.

Physical Requirements:
