Position Summary:

As a Part-Time Coffee Bar Specialist, you’ll be the face of our coffee bar, creating a variety of delicious, organic beverages that delight our customers. You will bring your passion for coffee and customer service to every interaction, ensuring a memorable experience for everyone who visits. This role is perfect for someone who is energetic, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and loves interacting with people. This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coffee Craftsmanship: Prepare and serve a variety of organic coffee drinks and specialty beverages, ensuring each cup meets our high standards for quality and flavor.
  • Customer Delight: Engage with customers, take orders, and provide personalized recommendations to create a welcoming and positive experience.
  • Barista Skills: Operate coffee-making equipment efficiently and safely, maintaining a clean and organized workspace at all times.
  • Product Knowledge: Share your knowledge of our organic coffee and products with customers, helping them make informed choices.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in ordering and restocking supplies to ensure the coffee bar is always ready to serve.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with your team to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Must be 16 years or older.
  • Passionate About Coffee: A genuine love for coffee and organic products.
  • Customer Service Skills: Friendly, attentive, and committed to providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Detail-Oriented: Able to maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable and Punctual: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Team-Oriented: Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Legal Right to Work: Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Footwear Requirement: Must wear non-slip shoes for safety on the job; please note that these are not provided by the company.
